Research interest:

Social and political dimension of biodiversity conservation: implementation of biodiversity policies, public participation in environmental decision making, conservation conflicts, spatial planning for conservation, implementation of action plans, people’s perceptions and attitudes, ecosystem services.

Current research projects:

BESAFE - Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services: Arguments for our Future Environment
Between the ecosystem services and biodiversity conservation - a case of the Bialowieza Forest.
Synergies and conflicts between different Action Plans for threatened species in Sweden - the analysis of the White-backed Woodpecker and broadleaved forest as an example.
